A real soccer freak comes to town. His name is Tsubasa Ozora whose best friend is a soccer ball. He dreams he would help Japan go to the top of the World Cup one day. The story unfolds when he moves in a town where he builds strong friendship with his fellow teammates through the games. He is going to grow as a wonderful sportsman through his dedicated life to soccer.

Episode 1 - 13

Episode 1: A new soccer freak comes to town.
A new boy comes to a small town surrounded by mountains and sea. The captain of South Kuzu 's elementary school soccer team, Ishizaki, is surprised to see the skills of this boy, Tsubasa, who handles a soccer ball as if it's a part of his body! He is born to be an ace striker. Ishizaki and all the teammates welcome Tsubasa to their team.

At the soccer field, two soccer teams, South Kuzu and Shutetsu, are arguing over the usage of the field. There, Tsubasa meets his greatest future rival, Genzo Wakabayashi. Genzo is the captain of the famous Shutetsu Soccer team that won the National Championship last year. Genzo is the genius goalkeeper. No player of South Kuzu can hit the net through Genzo. Here comes Tsubasa's turn to challenge him.
Episode 2: The lifelong rival
Tsubasa is so happy to challenge a great goalkeeper, Genzo. It is a great pleasure for a play to challenge a strong opponent. Roberto Hongo, the ex-pro soccer player from Brazil , watches the showdown of two boys.
Episode 3: Kick it off for tomorrow
Tsubasa finally settles in to South Kuzu elementary school. The students are talking about Tsubasa's challenge to Genzo Wakabayashi. Sanae, known as “Big Sister” falls for Tsubasa at first sight. She decides to support his as the cheerleader of South Kuzu .
Episode 4: Soccor ball is my best friend
Tsubasa realizes that the team he chose is the third-rated outfit and need much more trainings. Interested in Tsubasa's talent, Roberto Hongo accepts to be the coach and the training starts.
Episode 5: Tsubasa's First Game
In the first game, South Kuzu soccer team makes a lot of bad plays, but Tsubasa cheers up the teammates and keeps playing with all his determination.
Episode 6: Block it in the goal!
Thanks to Tsubasa's unyielding efforts, his team wins through. Then, after the inspiration of the first victory, all the teammates happily agree to go into harder training
Episode 7-13
After Tsubasa joins South Kuzu soccer team, this third-rated team changes. Tsubasa's outstanding skills and his passion for soccer inspire the fighting spirits of his teammates. The friendship among the teammates becomes tighter and they begin a close sense of cooperation with each other gradually. During the big game with the rival; Shutetsu, of which goal-keeper is Genzo Wakabayashi, Tsubasa and his teammates feel the heavy burden to carry the honor for the whole South Kuzu elementary school. Can South Kuzu team accomplish an unexpected task…?

Episode 14-19:
The season of traditional battles between Shutetsu, the Champion Team, and all others begins. On the final day, the dark horse, South Kuzu , comes up to challenge Shutetsu. The team of South Kuzu , bearing their school's honor, puts up a courageous fight against Shutetsu. Tsubasa and Genzo wage an exciting fight against each other and finally the decisive moment comes!

Episode 16: The new Captain Hawk.
Episode 17: The National Championship opens.
Episode 18: Fatal confrontation; Tsubasa vs. Kojiro

The new South Kuzu F.C. 11, all-star team is formed. Tsubasa, Ishizaki and Genzo are the players selected for this all-star team. Strong opponents come up in the way of Tsubasa's new team at the prefecture level play-offs. The winner goes for the National Championship. Everybody believes this team is No.1 and it will be easy for it to go through to the top of prefecture level. . But, an unexpected incident awaits the South Kuzu F.C. 11. Can the team grab the trophy of championship representing the prefecture? The thrilling and breathtaking plays are going on…!!
